Louise Lu passed the Bar Examination and ranked second in the Judicial Officers Examination in 2003. She holds academic backgrounds in both law and media communications. Prior to joining Pontis Law, Louise started her career as a journalist at a nation-wide television network and then transitioned into a prosecutor and judge for over a decade. During her civil service, Louise was assigned to the Intellectual Property Protection Task Force, the Women and Children’s Affairs Task Force, and served as an enforcement prosecutor at the Taipei District Prosecutors Office. She later served as a family court judge at the Taipei District Court and currently acts as a mediation commissioner at the same court. She brings a wealth of practical experience, with primary areas of practice including intellectual property protection, trade secrets, civil and criminal litigation, family law, and family wealth succession.
