Bob Yang

Attorney at law

Attorney  Bob Yang joined Pontis Law in 2025. In addition to his extensive practice in civil litigation, criminal defense, and administrative litigation, he specializes in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), construction disputes, international trade, and intellectual property law. With a distinctive interdisciplinary background, Attorney Yang serves as a CPBL (Chinese Professional Baseball League) Certified Player Agent and an International Affairs Talent of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee, dedicating himself to extending his legal expertise into the fields of sports and entertainment law — a niche in which few domestic legal professionals specialize. On the academic front, Attorney Yang is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law at National Taipei University and previously served as an Associate Researcher at the WTO and RTA Center of the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER). His research focuses on forward-looking legal frameworks, including international trade regulations, export controls, and investment screenings. He has been honored as a member of The Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society and has received the Fei-Yuan Award from National Taipei University and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarship. He has participated in numerous research projects funded by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and the Ocean Affairs Council, and has published multiple legal articles in prominent domestic journals.
